The Performance Portal is a social networking resource and digital archive of The Pigs of Today Are The Hams of Tomorrow. The Pigs of Today Are The Hams of Tomorrow was presented by Plymouth Arts Centre as a curatorial collaboration with the Marina Abramovic Institute for Preservation of Performance Art, New York, and took place over three days at the Royal William Yard and across the city, in January 2010. In light of his current research project Documenting Durational Live Performance Art Using Social Media, Sven Goyvaerts oversees the Performance Portal, which is intended to provide a virtual archive and forum to discuss topics that have been raised during the Live Laboratory Symposium.
